In the days leading up to Super Bowl LIX, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce made it clear he doesn’t plan to retire any time soon.
“I’ve got a full heart of football left in me,” Kelce said as the Chiefs prepared for Super Bowl LIX against the Philadelphia Eagles. “I really love this game and I think throughout the year it can get pretty tough. But it’s moments like these, the playoffs, these memories that I’ll have with the teammates and coaches that I go to war with … wanting to keep that legacy or keep finding new ways to create those memories I think will, I don’t know, just keep fueling me and my love for football.”
Kelce and girlfriend Taylor Swift have been the talk of the football world since they started dating ahead of the 2023 season. Two Super Bowl appearances later, their stardom appears to be rubbing a few Philadelphia Eagles fans the wrong way.

During the game on Sunday night, Swift was shown on the big screen at the Superdome in New Orleans and Philly fans let her hear it, raining down boos. Swift grew up outside of Philadelphia and until she started dating Kelce had considered that city’s pro teams to be her teams.
The billionaire singer appeared to have no idea what was going on, asking a question to Ice Spice who was right next to her.
“What’s going on?” she could be seen asking during the moment.
Clearly not everyone loves Taylor Swift, but most around the world do. During her nearly two-year “Eras Tour,” Swift grossed over $2 billion, making it the highest grossing tour in history – more than $1 billion more than the next richest tour staged by Coldplay.
