Derrick Henry, who’s coming off an impressive season with the Baltimore Ravens, put himself out there for the Dallas Cowboys a year ago, when he entered free agency. And things went absolutely sideways as Jerry Jones made no move toward him, citing financial reasons. But that’s not all he did.

While appearing on the Cowboys star Micah Parsons‘ show, The Edge with Micah Parsons, Henry circled to the conversation of his free agency before signing with the Ravens. Though the veteran running back didn’t want to discuss the matter initially, Parsons complained about why he didn’t inform him about the change of location.

Interestingly, before Henry could respond, a person in the audience shouted that he should have called Dallas General Manager and owner Jones and asked for Parsons’ number. And that’s where Henry did not hold himself from revealing that Jones actually blocked his number. “Jerry got my number blocked. I couldn’t even get it. I couldn’t even call Jerry,” replied Henry quickly.

Jones’ inaction towards Henry was followed by heavy criticism from the fans, yet it hardly impacted the franchise. Unfortunately, they seem to be doing it all over again with Myles Garrett’s availability, for whom Parsons has been offered to take a pay cut. But it’s been over a week and there have been no flying rumors or speculations that Jones is even considering approaching Garrett– despite him being clearly interested.
