“The best option right now is to get Justin back on point, because he’s fully capable of doing it,” Harbaugh stated. “We certainly haven’t lost any confidence in Justin Tucker.”
Harbaugh further emphasized the importance of support, saying, “He’s definitely our best option, and he’s going to make a lot of kicks—I really believe that—going forward. But it’s up to him and the guys he works with every day to make those balls go straight.”
When asked about the possibility of bringing in competition for Tucker, Harbaugh was quick to dismiss the idea. “At this point?
No. There’s no thought to that,” he said.
Realistically, sourcing a capable kicker mid-season presents significant challenges. The Ravens appear committed to weathering this storm with Tucker, aiming for him to regain his form.
The Ravens have enjoyed the luxury of the league’s most reliable kicker for over a decade. While Tucker’s off-year is testing the team’s loyalty, it’s clear that in Baltimore, Justin Tucker remains the man for the job, at least for now.
