The Baltimore Ravens fell short in the postseason once again. Despite building one of the most talented rosters in the NFL, the club suffered a Divisional Round loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Lamar Jackson was superb under center, finishing as the runner-up for the MVP award. Beside him in the backfield was Derrick Henry, who proved he has plenty left in the tank as a star player.
With the offseason here, the Ravens are going to be able to make roster tweaks to try and bolster their chances at a Super Bowl run for the 2025 season.
First off, the club has got to get their coaching staff ironed out, so they can begin to build a roster for next season. With a strong staff already in place, the Ravens are making marginal changes to help.
Recently, the Ravens signed former special teams standout player Anthony Levine as an assistant coach in the special teams department, according to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz.
“The Ravens are expected to hire Anthony Levine as an assistant special teams coach,” Zenitz reports. “Levine, who played for the Ravens from 2012-21, was assistant special teams coach for the Titans the last two years. Worked for the Ravens in 2022 as a personnel and coaching assistant.”
Levine’s first season in Baltimore was likely his best, as he won a Super Bowl with the team as a rookie. He spent nearly a decade with the team from 2012 to 2021.
The former Ravens player retired from playing after the 2021 season and immediately got into coaching with the club. He’s also spent time with the Tennessee Titans in assistant roles.
Levine is back in the Charm City in the same role he had during his time with the Titans.
