The Dallas Cowboys are falling like the broken metal sheet from the AT&T Stadium. Through Week 11, the Cowboys are still shy of a home win, being one of the two teams who havenât registered a win at home.
The Cowboys, who were dealt with an unanticipated record, lost their fifth straight game earlier today to the Houston Texans. The Texans limited the Cowboys to 10 points while scoring 34 in response, thanks to three rushing TDs from Joe Mixon and two field goals courtesy of Kaâimi Fairburn.
The âAmericaâs Teamâ looked uncoordinated while marking an unwanted record for themselves. The Cowboys have trailed by 20+ points at some point in their last six home games, starting with the playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers last season.
The team isnât satisfied with their performance either. Head coach Mike McCarthy admitted that frustration is running high across the board. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb echoed the sentiment, noting that other teams seem eager to embarrass them. He emphasized the need for selflessness moving forward to prevent giving opponents opportunities to capitalize on their mistakes.
Lamb had only 93 receiving yards from eight receptions with one carry for thirteen yards. The wideout, who was extended for a huge sum of money in the preseason, has been criticized for his poor performances.
Veteran Troy Aikman previously criticized the wide receivers for their sloppy route running. Last week, he revisited the issue, specifically calling out CeeDee Lamb for the infamous missed touchdown catch, which Lamb attributed to being blinded by the sun.
CeeDee Lamb thinks endzone success could change the narrative
The Dallas Cowboys need to win some games immediately. Currently, they are on pace to draft somewhere in the Top 10 next year.
Lamb, as one of the mainstream players on the team, noted that they need to leave the past where it should belong. He expressed that some endzone success could change the conversations revolving around the Cowboys.
The Dallas Cowboys are currently kicked around by the media with their poor performances, locker room issues, and now the building mishaps.
