Adam Sandler was a guest on Travis Kelce’s New Heights show this week and the Happy Gilmore 2 star had some things to say about his co-star’s relationship with Taylor Swift.

Appearing on the show, Sandler admitted that his family absolutely loves the fact that Kelce is dating Swift. He said that his family even celebrated when they first learned the news.

“And you being together and you being you guys… my God, was my family like, ‘Yes!’” he said.

Sandler even admitted that Swift is the one person that he gets nervous around because his kids love her so much that she doesn’t want to “blow it” and saying anything stupid when he’s around her.

“Somebody asked me, ‘Who do you get nervous around?’ I said I do get nervous around Taylor Swift because I don’t wanna (expletive) blow it for my kids and say something stupid.”

Sandler is clearly very fond of Kelce, fond enough to give him a speaking role in his upcoming Happy Gilmore 2 film.

Kelce has been trying his hands at getting on screen a lot more over the past couple of years. He was recently the host of Amazon’s Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity? and appeared in FX’s Grotesquerie. Of course, he has also been a surprise on-stage guest for some of Swift’s Eras Tour performances.

Sandler has already made it clear that he finds the Kansas City Chiefs tight end to be incredibly funny. In a recent interview he rated Kelce a “12” out of 10 when rating his sense of humor.

“A 12. Funny as hell. Funny as hell. No kidding—unbelievable!” Sandler said recently.

There’s no official release date yet for Happy Gilmore 2, but it’s a sequel 30 years in the making and is set to bring back numerous stars from the original film along with a ton of celebrity cameos.
