Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs entered the NFL season aiming to win their third straight Super Bowl title.
While the Chiefs entered the postseason as the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a 15-2 record, they were eventually halted by a dominant performance from the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl.
The Chiefs suffered a brutal 40-22 loss to the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX, ending what could have been a historic three-peat season.
Following a disappointing end to Kansas City’s season, defensive end Charles Omenihu spoke about the Chiefs’ “revenge tour.”
While discussing the upcoming 2025 season for the Chiefs, Omenihu explained that Mahomes will be on a “revenge tour” in the next 10 months.
“On a revenge tour,” Omenihu said, per Scott Thompson at Fox News. “Just extreme focus, taking even more control of the organization. We’re going to get my boy Rashee (Rice) back, so that’s going to be great with how (Xavier Worthy) has been playing. Hopefully, we’ll be able to figure out the rest of the pieces.”

In the blowout loss to the Eagles in the Super Bowl, Mahomes posted three touchdowns, two interceptions and 257 yards while completing 21-of-32 pass attempts.
He capped off the season with 26 touchdowns and 3,928 yards, completing 67.5% of his pass attempts.
While the Chiefs struggled in Super Bowl LIX, Omenihu seems to believe the Eagles may have added fuel to the fire, giving Mahomes clear motivation.
Mahomes is already viewed as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time, coming off his eighth year in the NFL. He’s led the Chiefs to three Super Bowl titles and five AFC Championship victories.
The Chiefs quarterback has also been named a two-time league MVP, so any extra motivation for Mahomes should worry the rest of the NFL.
