Chris Jones has been a key piece of Kansas City’s defense for the past nine years, helping them make it to their third straight Super Bowl this season. However, the Chiefs weren’t able to come out on top against the Philadelphia Eagles, leading to a sobering admission from Jones in the aftermath of the game.
“We have been privileged in the last three years, always competing at the highest level and winning championships. Losing at this stage hurts, but it’s part of the game,” Jones said of K.C.’s loss to Philly in Super Bowl LIX.

Before he was a star with the Chiefs, he was a prospect with an invitation to the 2016 NFL combine.
During his 40-yard dash, Jones appeared to be having some difficulties with his shorts. While he made it 40 yards, he ended up falling and accidentally exposing himself after he crossed the finish line. On Saturday, with the clip of this incident resurfacing, Jones dropped a hilarious six-word message.
“Still trying to figure this out,” Jones said in response to the video in a post on X.
Jones enjoyed a strong season in 2024 with the Chiefs, earning his sixth straight Pro Bowl selection and third straight first-team All-Pro honor. After capping their season with a loss in the Super Bowl, Jones and Kansas City will be intent on getting back to the top of the mountain in 2025.
