The Dallas Cowboys are heading into the 2025 NFL season under first-year head coach Brian Schottenheimer.

The linebacker has been with the Chiefs since 2021. He was drafted by Kansas City in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft and has since helped the franchise win two Super Bowl titles.
The former Missouri star serves as an anchor on the Chiefs’ defense, posting one interception, one forced fumble, three sacks and a team-leading 106 tackles last season.
As Schatz explained, the Cowboys currently have Eric Kendricks leading the team at middle linebacker, but he’ll soon be headed into free agency at 33 years old.
A young talent like Bolton, 24, could bring more life to Dallas’ defense, which already features Micah Parsons and Trevon Diggs.
