The Los Angeles Dodgers won their eighth World Series title in 2024 against the New York Yankees. As the preparations for the World Series were underway, Apple TV announced that they were capturing footage for a documentary.
With the 2025 season only a few weeks away, Apple TV made a further announcement confirming the date of the 3-part documentary’s release.
The documentary will follow the 2024 World Series between the Dodgers and Yankees, with never-before-seen interviews and behind-the-scenes content from both teams.
In the Apple TV documentary, players, coaches, fans, journalists, and family members will be interviewed in the process of covering the 2024 World Series. Both teams will have their journeys through the postseason and in the World Series covered.

From the dramatic Freddie Freeman walk-off home run to the eventual final out, the Dodgers’ eighth World Series title will be featured on Apple TV with exclusive content.
Behind the scenes content about both teams will be featured and will provide another fresh look at the Dodgers’ incredible 2024 World Series title.
The three-part documentary is produced by MLB, Imagine Documentaries, R.J. Cutler’s The Machine, and Derek Jeter with his production company Cap 2 Productions.
As the 2025 season kicks into gear, the Dodgers will get one more fresh coat of paint on an incredible postseason run, which culminated in a World Series victory.
