Back in January of 2024, three Kansas City Chiefs fans were found dead in their friend’s backyard. It wasn’t until over a year later that authorities revealed the cause of death.
Clayton McGeeney, David Harrington and Ricky Johnson showed up to Jordan Willis’ house to watch the final game of the 2023 regular season between the Chiefs and the Chargers. When authorities searched Willis’ house, they found a plastic bag containing cocaine. They also found a bag that contained fentanyl.
The medical examiner determined that McGeeney, Harrington and Johnson died from the toxic combination of fentanyl and cocaine.
According to reports, Jordan Willis and Ivory Carson have been arrested for their alleged roles in this situation.
Per TMZ:
Officials in Platte County, Missouri announced this week that Jordan Willis and Ivory Carson have been hit with three counts of involuntary manslaughter and two counts of delivery of a controlled substance … after investigators say the two contributed to the deaths of Clayton McGeeney, David Harrington and Ricky Johnson back in January 2024.

Twitter.
Platte County Prosecuting Attorney Eric Zahnd plans on holding Willis and Carson accountable.
“This case is a tragic reminder of the dangers of street drugs,” Zahnd said. “But make no mistake, the people who supply those drugs can and will be held accountable when people overdose.”
With that said, Willis and Carson’s mugshots were released on social media this week.
Willis’ attorney, Picerno, spoke to KCTV about this legal situation.
“The probable cause statement submitted by the state is consistent with what Jordan stated happened,” Picerno said. “Jordan maintains that he is not responsible for purchasing or supplying the drugs that led to the deaths of his three friends. We are very much looking forward to the day a jury gets to hear all of the evidence in this case.”
We’ll see how this case plays out in Kansas City. For now, our thoughts are with those impacted by this truly awful situation.
