The Dallas Cowboys might be prepping to lose DeMarcus Lawrence and Chauncey Golston in free agency.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles are expected to lose edge rushers Josh Sweat, Brandon Graham and defensive tackle Milton Williams this offseason.

That’s a bunfle of key players along the defensive line in the NFC East …

And now along comes yet another edge rusher who can help … whoever wants to win the bidding.

Some organizations may see the holes incoming and worry they won’t be able to solve all of the concerns. For the Eagles and general manager Howie Roseman, though, it’s just another day in the office.

And they could get some major help regarding that as well.

With the Tennessee Titans releasing Pro Bowl edge rusher Harold Landry, another veteran edge rusher has now been made available to needy teams across the board.  Los Angeles Chargers edge defender Joey Bosa was also released due to his large cap number.

And of course, superstars Trey Hendrickson of the Bengals and Myles Garrett of the Browns – available via trade – are also in this conversation.

Contrary to Roseman, Cowboys boss Jerry Jones is talking about an unwilling to use free agency to fill “voids.”

Cowboys Nation hopes he’s just flapping his gums.

In the case of Landry, he has recorded 19.5 sacks in each of the last two seasons. The 28-year-old has recorded over 50 sacks in his six-year career in the NFL. While the analytical side isn’t the greatest towards him, Landry does one thing obviously well.

Rush the passer.

The Eagles have over $22 million in cap space according to Over The Cap and are expected to have more following the releases of both Darius Slay and James Bradberry along with a contract extension to Saquon Barkley.

The Cowboys – wrongly perceived to be in “Cap Hell” – just freed up $57 million with their Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb money shuffles.

With holes along the edge, having a proven pass rusher is a critical thing.

We bet the Eagles see that. We wonder if the Cowboys do.
