As the “legal tampering period” progresses into Tuesday in the NFL, deals are being struck left and right.
No team can sign an outside free agent until 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, March 12, but deals can be negotiated and agreed to until then, beginning on Monday, March 10.
The Baltimore Ravens haven’t been particularly active so far, but there’s still time.
Externally, the Ravens haven’t announced any deal that has been agreed to, but general manager Eric DeCosta and the team have retained two of their own already – and they’re big pieces of the offense.
After already agreeing to a three-year, $60 million deal with offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, on Tuesday, the Ravens reportedly have agreed to a deal with fullback Patrick Ricard per the team’s X account.
“Pancake Pat” will return next season, but the terms have not yet been disclosed.
The Ravens have lost a few players while several remain unsigned by anyone. Those who have left Baltimore include linebackers Patrick Mekari, Malik Harrison and Chris Board, corner Brandon Stephens and tackle Josh Johnson.
