Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to bounce back in Week 12 following their first loss of the season as they take on the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, North Carolina.
A few weeks ago against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Kelce made NFL history in front of his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, becoming the oldest player to record 14 or more catches after turning 35 years old.
Against the Panthers, Kelce has a chance to break another record, which is currently held by former Kansas City tight end and NFL Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez. However, due to the game not being at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, Swift will likely not be present.
Still, with just one touchdown catch, Kelce would become the Chiefs’ all-time leader in receiving scores with 77, passing Gonzalez’s record of 76.
Gonzalez set this mark in his 12th and final year in Kansas City in 2008. Kelce, also in his 12th season with the Chiefs, scored his 76th touchdown through the air on a 2-yard catch against the Denver Broncos on Nov. 10, tying Gonzalez for the most in team history.
