Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has already revealed that he’s not retiring and returning for his 13th NFL season in 2025, but the Pro Bowler apparently has another offseason announcement he plans to make soon.
Kelce, who had just four catches for 39 yards in the Chiefs’ 40-22 Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles last month, has been taking some time out of the spotlight to recharge with girlfriend Taylor Swift in the weeks after the season ended.
The couple was recently spotted having a low-key date night in New York City last week, staying out until the early morning hours, and they both won the fan-voted award for Favorite Surprise Guest on Monday at the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
But aside from that, Kelce and Swift have mostly kept to themselves and not ventured out into public much since the Super Bowl.
However, Kelce teased that fans should expect to see a special announcement from him soon regarding “Kelce Jam,” a music festival created and hosted by Kelce that’s held in Kansas City.
“Dialed in for the third annual #KelceJam. Stay tuned for more information! ” the “Kelce Jam” X account tweeted on Tuesday.
The official “Kelce Jam” web site also features a banner in the upper-mid left-hand side that reads “2025 announcement coming soon.”
The 2024 “Kelce Jam” event was headlined by Lil’ Wayne, Diplo, and 2 Chainz. Some fans have speculated on social media that Swift could possibly make an appearance at the event this year, though that’s unlikely to happen.
Kelce revealed back in January that he was also holding a special Kelce Jam Meet & Greet Sweepstakes where two winners can earn two VIP tickets to “Kelce Jam 2025,” flight and hotel accommodations for them and a guest, a special meet and greet with Kelce himself, and a Garage Beer/Kelce Jam swag bag.
