Kendall Lamm signs with Philadelphia Eagles instead of retiring.

Last season was supposed to be offensive lineman Kendall Lamm’s swansong in the National Football League. According to the player himself, his 2024 season with the Miami Dolphins was going to be his last before riding off into the sunset and retiring. Well, some plans are meant to be changed.

On Monday, it was reported by Peter Schrager of NFL Network that Lamm has signed a one-year deal with the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

I guess when the champs come calling, you pick up the phone.

The Dolphins chose to move forward themselves — signing former Chicago Bears offensive lineman Larry Borom to a one-year deal just last week. Borom — soon-to-be 26 years old — is significantly younger than Lamm — 32 years old. However, Borom has struggled at tackle during his career up to this point, so if the Dolphins are hoping for an upgrade at the swing tackle spot, offensive line coach Butch Barry has his work cut out for him.
