The Pittsburgh Steelers still don’t have a legitimate starting quarterback for 2025. But they’re doing all their due diligence to make sure he has pass catchers when they do.
As Pittsburgh continues to tweak its offense ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft next month, they reportedly took a look at a veteran wide receiver this week.
Aaron Wilson of KPRC reported that Terrace Marshall visited with the Steelers on Tuesday.
The 24-year-old spent last season with the Las Vegas Raiders, catching three passes for 41 yards with three starts across seven games.
He was originally a second-round pick of the Carolina Panthers in 2021 and spent three years with the team with 16 starts in 36 games. He caught 64 balls for 767 yards and one touchdown.
The Steelers have long been rumored to be attempting to trade George Pickens, who’s been criticized for his in-game efforts from time to time during his pro career.
Earlier this offseason the Steelers traded a second-round draft pick for former Seattle Seahawks wideout D.K. Metcalf, who’s expected to be their No. 1 wideout.
Pittsburgh went 10-7 for the second straight season last year but ended the season on a five-game losing streak that included a 28-14 Wild Card loss to the division rival Baltimore Ravens.
