With the 2025 NFL draft just under a month away and set to begin on April 24, the Pittsburgh Steelers still find themselves needing to find a quarterback.
Many of their potential free agency options are already gone. Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston have both signed with the New York Giants and the idea of running it back with Justin Fields disappeared shortly after free agency opened.
Mason Rudolph was signed by the Steelers. If need be, Rudolph has proven that he can be a starter in the past with Pittsburgh.
That being said, Aaron Rodgers is still seemingly the primary target for the Steelers at this point in time.

Rodgers could end up landing in Pittsburgh. In fact, many believe that will happen.
In the meantime, one NFL analyst believes that the Steelers should pursue a trade for an intriguing quarterback option.
Evan Cohen of ESPN radio has offered an alternative option to Rodgers. He believes that the Steelers should trade for Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis. Even if Pittsburgh signs Rodgers, Cohen still wants the team to trade for Levis.
“With or without Aaron Rodgers in the fold, the Steelers should trade for Will Levis,” Cohen said.
Originally drafted with the No. 33 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft by the Titans, Levis was expected to be a potential franchise quarterback option for Tennessee. That has not been the case through his first two years.
Levis has played in 21 career games and has completed 61% of his passes for 3,899 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions. He has also flashed his athleticism to the tune of 240 rushing yards and a touchdown.
