Xavier Worthy is taking the gloves off.
This week, the Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver filed a civil lawsuit against his former girlfriend, accusing her of assault, battery, theft, defamation, and other things.
Those other things include allegations of infidelity.
Worthy claims in the lawsuit that after discovering Jones was unfaithful, he asked her to leave the residence. However, that allegedly prompted her to retaliate by destroying property, physically attacking him, and reporting false accusations to law enforcement.
Xavier Worthy even brought up how Tia Jones allegedly cheated on him as he was preparing for Super Bowl LIX.
TMZ says he made the allegation in an application for a protective order in Williamson County, Texas.
The documents state that the two met in late 2023 at a steakhouse in Austin but did not begin a romantic relationship until the spring of 2024.
He said by the fall of that same year, though, “I noticed that her attitude started to change.”
Worthy was sure she was having an affair, which is why he hired a private investigator. That is when he learned of her dealings right around the time the Chiefs were making their run to a third straight Super Bowl that she was cheating on him with a trainer.
Xavier Worthy Says Tia Jones Became Abusive After Finding Out About Her Cheating

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy allegedly found out Tia Jones was cheating on him, and things got abusive.
In court documents obtained by TMZ, Worthy claimed Jones fabricated the allegations of domestic violence against him so she could “extort a home, money, cars, and other valuables” from him.
He repeatedly asked her to leave their home and even offered to get her an apartment to allow her time to get “back on her feet.”
Worthy says she refused and “became enraged and engaged in a series of abusive, extortive efforts.”
The young wideout added Jones destroyed his game room, scratched his face, and ripped huge chunks of his hair from his head.
