A few weeks ago, Dallas Cowboys star quarterback Dak Prescott vowed that he would be “very, very ready” to suit up for the first game of the 2025 NFL season.
He suffered a torn hamstring during Dallas’ sluggish 7-10 2024 season, missing the last nine games after undergoing surgery in November.
Now as training camp fast approaches, Prescott’s team has released a workout video on social media to confirm the optimism around his recovery.
We figured his arm would be ready to go, but Prescott’s lower body strength and movement are looking noticeably healthier from the recent video.
When Prescott last spoke about his recovery he mentioned the mindset he’s had throughout this process.
“I’m feeling good. I’m doing more and more. The last two weeks have been huge and progressive for me,” he said.
“… Everything’s on the right track, and I’m excited.”
Another photo online has seen Prescott throwing with Cowboys’ receivers Jalen Brooks, Jalen Tolbert, Brevyn Spann-Ford and Ryan Flournoy.
We have not gotten any definitive word on whether Dak will take part in camp or OTAs this offseason. He typically also skips the preseason games, so no worry there.
Judging by this latest video, he’ll be ready to go in no time.
Cowboys Nation has a lot to look forward to as they get their starting guy back under center very soon.
