Pitching? In the last season he pitched (2023 for the Los Angeles Angels), he boasted a 10-5 record as a starter with a 3.14 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP.
The guy is truly amazing, and heās an international superstar. Is it any surprise, then, to hear that he officially boasts the best-selling MLB jersey in the world?
Thatās the case, according to MLB, but again, itās not all that much of a shocker.

The incredible thing about it is that not only has Ohtani had the worldās most popular MLB jersey since 2023, but the Dodgers are cleaning up on the list of the top-10 best-sellers. Freddie Freeman checks in at No. 2, while Mookie Betts is also in the top five at No. 4 and Yoshinobu Yamamoto is at No. 10.
The Dodgers are a team of superstars, and the world has taken notice. Without a doubt, though, Ohtani is the straw that stirs the drink in LA ā and apparently internationally, too.
