Roger Goodell is the general leader of the NFL, and he makes the official decision on many of the league’s issues. The commissioner is also the person that the media comes to with all the league’s issues, and Goodell has a lot on his hands this season.
Justin Tucker is one of the best kickers in the NFL, or at least until this past season when he notably experienced a complex regression in terms of the kicks he could make. Many NFL fans claim his regression may have been due to some behind-the-scenes issues related to the recent allegations.
Tucker was recently accused by numerous masseuses in the Baltimore area of having reportedly carried out sexual misconduct during his career. Some of the accusations date back to as early as 2012, which was his rookie season.
Roger Goodell is the NFL commissioner, so of course, he was asked about the issue of the Ravens’ kicker at the league’s annual owners meeting, and his response may not have been too appealing.
Roger Goodell Speaks On Justin Tucker

Goodell told reporters, “Yeah, I haven’t gotten an update, but I know the review is ongoing.” He added, “We won’t be giving updates, but when we have something, we’ll certainly share it with everyone.”

The commissioner’s response may not be up to snuff for many fans, but that is all Goodell gave. Tucker’s accusers currently number a whopping 16, only comparable to Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who found himself in a similar situation after being traded to the Browns.
While Tucker has responded in length to the situation, saying in part, “I maintain I did not act inappropriately at any point before, during, or after a professional bodywork treatment session, nor have I ever been told I am unwelcome at any massage therapy provider,” it seems as though the league will continue to investigate.
