Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson and Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo have long been fighting dating rumors over their coded tweets and sly mentions. Neither of the two have ever outrightly denied the claims. On a recent appearance on “The Roommates Show” podcast, the hosts had their chance at poking fun at Wilson for her secretive date.
The podcast host, NBA star Jalen Brunson presented a tweet posted by Bam Adebayo in order to tease A’ja Wilson. The latter, all flushed, acted ignorant to the intentions of the former. Brunson pretended to not know the owner of the tweet and wished him blessings. Josh Hart joined in emphasizing that it was Lord’s Day, while the two appreciated the encoder of the tweet. The WNBA MVP all but joined into their joke.

A’ja Wilson joked
The aforementioned tweet was posted by Adebayo after Wilson became the first player in WNBA history to record 1,000 points in a single season. The tweet read greetings from the former for people to find reasons to smile. In their casual fashion of flirting, the sentence included an apostrophe similar to one in Wilson’s name.
Netizens started speculating that the two were dating after the two were spotted together in Vegas ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics. Apart from that, the two have been spotted by the fans sneakily hanging out several times. Wilson was also there to support Adebayo when he received the key to the city after winning a gold medal.

In a recent Miami Heat game against the Charlotte Hornets, A’ja Wilson sat in the stands cheering for the former. Majorly, fans speculate the WNBA MVP was cheering for rumored boyfriend Bam Adebayo. The fans couldn’t help but poke a little fun at the two.
The appearance further fueled the dating rumors between the two. Adebayo did not give his best foot forward for the game, scoring 12 points on 6-for-17 shooting. The spectators alleged that Wilson’s presence intimated the Heat player, making him nervous.
Despite his offensive game not being the best, he grabbed 11 rebounds and dished three assists while getting a steal and a block. The game wasn’t the only time A’ja Wilson attended with Bam Adebayo. Previously, she also accompanied him to the unveiling of Miami’s new court along with Dwyane Wade.
