With uncertainty surrounding Tyreek Hill’s long-term status on the Miami Dolphins, plenty of teams would be interested in his services. While Miami would likely prefer to send him outside the AFC, the Baltimore Ravens present an excellent fit for the disgruntled wide receiver.
This trade pitch has the Dolphins sending Hill to the Ravens in a blockbuster move that would give Lamar Jackson a true number-one receiver and net the Dolphins solid draft capital.
The Ravens would give up the 59th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and a fifth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. It’s a lot for the Ravens to give up, but with a closing window in a tough AFC, the Ravens give up a lot of draft capital to bring in an elite receiver.
Meanwhile, the Dolphins would be well set up in the draft. After this trade pitch, Miami would end up with picks 13, 48, 59, and 98 in the first three rounds.
It’s a solid return for Hill, who is 31 years old and has just two years left on his deal. His time in Miami was great statistically, but lackluster in playoff impact.
Across the three years and 50 games in Miami, Hill had 319 receptions for 4468 yards and 26 touchdowns. He led the NFL in receiving yards and touchdowns in 2023, was named an All-Pro, and was sixth in MVP voting.

Hill made a massive individual impact, but the Dolphins haven’t made any headway in the postseason. With the Dolphins looking to compete with the top teams in the AFC, changes need to be made, especially with Tua Tagovailoa’s looming contract.
Tagovailoa’s cap hit increases from $10 million in 2024 to $39 million in 2025. From 2026 through 2028, it jumps to $56 million, $53 million, and $65 million. The Dolphins have an out of his deal in 2027, but the Dolphins will be in a tricky cap situation with Hill still on the roster.
Jaylen Waddle also helps negate the damage from a Hill trade, as Waddle has shown the ability to be a number-one receiver. Combine Waddle with a rookie in 2025 and the other veteran receivers on the roster, and the pass-catching group would be very strong even after a Hill trade.
This trade pitch would net the Ravens a true number-one receiver for Jackson while giving the Dolphins significant financial flexibility and draft capital. Hill is an expensive and valuable trade asset for Miami.
Given the Dolphins’ current state as a franchise, moving Hill now would be much better for them in the long run.
