Taylor Swift and boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, are reportedly taking a break from the public as they spend their downtime together. So, it definitely came as a surprise when fans saw the pop star in a Sporting KC game … or so they thought.
To clarify, Swift didn’t attend Sporting KC’s game against St. Louis last Saturday. However, an impostor did.
As reported earlier, the Swift impersonator—whose real name is Kelley Thrasher—caused a stir both at the game in Kansas City and online, as people thought she was the real deal.
Apparently, the security at Children’s Mercy Park even had to step in. This was revealed by Thrasher’s friend, who detailed what happened in the arena.

“Still laughing at the chaos last night brought,” Thrasher’s friend wrote on Instagram, along with a video montage of clips taken from the game. It even showed the Swift impersonator waving at kids, who jumped up and down in excitement after the gesture.
“We were just there to celebrate our girl @amberleigh.masters birthday… but bring Taylor Swift’s lookalike to an SKC game and suddenly you need security escorts and end up in the stadium’s secret speakeasy with the players after the game.”
For what it’s worth, it certainly wasn’t a surprise that arena security had to move. While Kelley Thrasher might be there to celebrate a friend’s birthday, she did look like Swift with her tan trench coat outfit while rocking a hairstyle like Swift’s.
As for the real Swift and Travis Kelce, based on how they are reportedly enjoying their private time together, fans should probably not expect to see the couple make a very public appearance any time soon.
