BREAKING : Rafael Nadal’s jersey from his career-ending Grand Slam win in 2010 is being auctioned for a huge sum

A piece of that history is expected to sell for over $35,000.

Rafael Nadal’s tennis achievements spark Hall of Fame levels of inspiration to tennis fans worldwide, and they will now now have an opportunity to take home another authetic piece of the Spaniard’s history.

Prestige Memorabilia opened its 2025 spring tennis auction on Thursday with items from other greats like Roger Federer and Andy Roddick up for grabs, as well as the featured 2010 US Open-winning shirt worn and signed by Nadal.

With his first US Open title in 2010, Nadal became the youngest man, at 24 years old, in the Open Era to win a career Grand Slam. He defeated Novak Djokovic in the final 6-4, 5-7, 6-4, 6-4, back when the Serb had only one Grand Slam title to his name.

The black and green championship-winning kit was custom-made by Nike for Nadal.

The custom-made Nike shirt is signed “Rafael Nadal 2010!” by the Spaniard himself and is up for auction until April 27. Bidding begins at $5,000.

The Sports Investors Authentication proved that the florescent black and green Nike shirt was worn during the 2010 US Open championship match, and documentation of authentication will be provided with the shirt to the lucky bidder who takes it home.

In August 2024, Nadal’s 2005 Roland Garros winning shirt (the first of 14 titles to come), sold for a record-breaking $113,924.

The auction has high hopes for the prized 2010 shirt, which is expected to sell for more than $35,000. For more information about items and bidding terms, visit TheTennisAuction.com.
