According to Pittsburgh’s KDKA’s Ricky Sayer, Terry Bradshaw, the former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback saved a group of travelers at Pittsburgh International Airport this week.
The door of his plane—which came in from Fort Worth, Texas—was reportedly stuck in a closed and locked position for approximately thirty minutes before he helped force it open.
Sayer reported the information in a social media post early Friday morning.
“The pilot announced and you could kind of hear he was chuckling as he said it,” said passenger Selah Gamble, via Sayer. “But he said ‘thanks to the strength of one of our passengers, we were finally able to get the door open’ and I think we all knew he was alluding to Mr. Bradshaw.”
Lời kể của Bradshaw rất khác so với lời kể của những hành khách đi cùng chuyến bay, khi họ khẳng định anh thậm chí còn được phi công gọi tên.

A four-time Super Bowl champion with the Steelers, Bradshaw retired from the NFL in 1983. He has been an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday since 1994. Despite the fact he is contemplating retirement from Fox in the near term, the 76-year-old is still looking to be a hero in his adopted hometown.
“I mean honestly I was just ready to get off the flight, but the guy next to me had made the joke that they should have him bust down the door and I was like, well maybe he could a few years ago, so I’m definitely eating my words,” Gamble said.
Bradshaw is currently in town for his former teammate Mel Blount’s celebrity roast on Friday night. It is also the 50th anniversary of the Steelers first Super Bowl victory.
The legendary Bradshaw helped those great teams “save” Pittsburgh back in the day. And now we know that level at 76, Terry’s still got what it takes to be a hero.
