With the pilot flying the chopper that crashed into the Hudson River on Thursday having been identified as Sean Johnson, his last social media post has come to light. And it’s heartbreaking.

Johnson, a former Navy SEAL, was the one operating the helicopter carrying a family of five that lost their lives in the crash; he did not survive it either.

His wife, Kathryn, revealed that he moved to New York to further his flying career and had taken up several jobs after leaving the Navy, including bodyguarding celebrities and working on the set of a television show.

While he did many things, Johnson’s passion was flying.
