Fans had quite a bit to say after the Dallas Cowboys shared a video of their players coming in for offseason workouts on Monday.
The NFC East team welcomed members of the squad back after a disappointing 2024 season. However, with everyone starting at zero at this time of year, spirits are likely high as the organization prepares to kick things off under new head coach Brian Schottenheimer.
Players fell in on Monday morning to be greeted by someone holding a cup of real live worms outside of the facility, and most of them wanted nothing to do with it. Of course, there were a few of them who had no qualms holding the crawlers.
There was also the option of gummy worms for the squeamish.
Check them out in the video below:
Clearly not what they were expecting on their first day in…
Dallas Cowboys Fans Seem Like They Wanted To See All Of The Players Hold Worms

Cowboys fans were proud of the players who actually got their hands dirty.
“you can tell who the true fishermen are lol,” one laughed.
“I aint gonna hold ya. We need more country boys on the roster!!!” another wrote.
“This is the weirdest thing ever to post,” said a third.
“You can tell who’s baited a hook before,” another fan commented.
“Once again, Dak didn’t take the bait,” someone joked.
“Much respect to the Men who could actually pick it up! Come on Cowboy up guys!!” a comment read.
Even more surprising than the worms is the fact that Micah Parsons was among the first people to show up. The star edge rusher was in the building on Monday, although he has not secured a contract extension with the team.
Given that the player usually trains alone around this time of year, it was also a nice surprise for Dallas fans.
Running back Miles Sanders was also a sight for sore eyes after joining the team on a one-year deal this year.
Unsurprisingly, Philadelphia Eagles fans didn’t love it.
