The Dallas Cowboys and team owner Jerry Jones still need to work out a new contract with superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons.
Many different rumors and speculation have come up surrounding Parsons this offseason. From a new deal getting done to the superstar getting traded, Cowboys fans have heard it all.
On Monday, Parsons showed up for the voluntary workouts in Dallas. He is working to show that he can lead by example, which is something that Jones has wanted to see from him.
Parsons is showing the Cowboys that it’s time to pay him and keep him as the face of the franchise for years to come.
One Dallas insider sent a bold four-word message to Jones following Parsons’ voluntary appearance.

Clarence Hill Jr. took to X to send his message to Jones. He first started by breaking down Jones’ own words.
“Jerry Jones asked for it: ‘For us to justify the kinds of dollars we’re talking about with any basis, he has to literally lead the way.’ Micah was true to his word by showing up for the offseason program.” he wrote in his post.
He then sent the four-word message directly to Jones and the Cowboys.
“Now pay the man,” he stated.
During the 2024 NFL season, Parsons racked up 43 total tackles, 12 sacks, two forced fumbles, and a defended pass in 13 games. He’s just 25 years old with plenty of elite football ahead of him.
Jacob Camenker of USA Today has projected Parsons to receive a contract extension worth around $201 million over five years.
