$60 Million Dodgers Fan-Favorite Predicted to Join Yankees’ Aaron Judge, Team USA

The Los Angeles Dodgers have had a strange season, to say the least. The team isn’t playing bad baseball, but to say they’re playing up to their standards would be unfair.

Los Angeles still sit at 13-6 and remain the best team in MLB, at least on paper. However, at some point, expect the Dodgers to turn it around, and expect that to be soon.

There have been some notable players performing at a high level over the first few games of the year, including Tommy Edman.

Edman was acquired at the deadline last season from the St. Louis Cardinals, a deal that paid off in a big way for the Dodgers.

If Edman keeps it up, there’s a very good chance he’ll find himself as an All-Star this season, and deservingly so, as he’s done nothing but swing the bat at a high level and continue to give the Dodgers innings anywhere they need him.

More than the All-Star Game, Edman could be looking at a massive accolade, with some predicting him to make the 2026 World Baseball Classic Team USA roster.

The latest to do so was Zachary D. Rymer of Bleacher Report, who added that his defensive versatility and recent offensive play would be a great addition to the USA Team.

“Edman, meanwhile, would be a notable name on this list even if he wasn’t turning heads with a six-homer start to 2025,” Rymer wrote. “There’s no position he can’t play in the field, except for maybe first base and catcher.”

If Edman continues to play the way he has, there’s a good chance that he’ll be on the team. Even if his bat slows down a bit, there’s reason to believe a versatile infielder could be a valuable asset.
