Even Brittany Mahomes knows butter yellow is the color of the spring season.
The Kansas City Current co-owner hopped on the style trend while celebrating her friend Miranda Hogue’s 30th birthday on the beach in Turks and Caicos.
On Thursday, Mahomes, 29, took to Instagram to share her love for the birthday girl, while also showing off her butter yellow NBD maxi dress ($288), complete with a plunging neckline, billowing ruffles and a sultry thigh-high slit.

“My girl is 30! Love you so much!” Mahomes wrote over the oceanside snap.
Later that night, Mahomes posted a series of snaps to her Instagram Stories of her girl gang’s coordinating “sunset night” attire.
While majority of the women rocked red and orange maxi dresses, Mahomes opted for another butter yellow look that was perfectly on theme.
The star chose a striking number from Runaway The Label ($170) that features a gorgeous gradient from pale yellow to bright orange, and is absolutely covered in clear sequins.
Both nights, Mahomes kept the beachy vibes going with her glam, opting for barely-there beach waves and light makeup.
The girls’ trip follows a Mahomes family trip to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., which she took with husband Patrick and their two eldest children, Sterling, 4, and Patrick “Bronze,” 2. It’s unclear if their 3-month-old daughter Golden joined them.
Brittany has been getting back into the groove since welcoming her third child in February.
Last month, she shared a few Instagram Stories exercising in head-to-toe neon pink activewear. While posing for a mirror selfie, Mahomes questioned, “How much pink is too much?”
