The Dallas Cowboys are in the midst of a new era with head coach Brian Schottenheimer at the helm.  He takes over after Mike McCarthy was in control from 2020-2024.  While 2024 was derailed by injuries, McCarthy still went 49-35 and had three consecutive seasons of at least 12 regular season wins.

Schottenheimer will have high expectations immediately.  However, news of one of their former starters having a second job while with the team is going viral.

The source claims that Xavier Woods has been working hours at a smoothie joint for no reason other than earning extra money:

Woods signed a two-year deal with the Titans this year and will earn $4 million a year, with $3.49 million of that money guaranteed. His base salary counts for $1.39 million, with his signing bonus set at $2 million, so he’s a pretty wealthy guy, although he’s not making superstar money.

It appears he’s keen on making most of his cash off the field, as, according to a thread from Brandon Harris, he’s following a model used by the smart investor athletes.

Shaquille O’Neal and Jimmy Butler are among popular NBA stars who have followed the blueprint, which another former hooper, Junior Bridgeman, created.
