Jim Courier made final prediction on Novak Djokovic’s 2025

Jim Courier, former world number 1 and winner of 4 Slam tournaments, released an interesting analysis in the Tennis Channel’s Inside-In podcast on what Novak Djokovic could achieve in 2025.

The former American tennis player had announced, even before Nole made official the new incredible collaboration with Andy Murray, the importance of adding a new member to his team

“If he doesn’t show up in Australia with a new coach, in his opinion, that would already be a sign. If he had fresh forces in his team I would be optimistic about him. Next year will be very significant. It would be really significant if he adds a big coach to his team in the off-season and shows up in Australia with a new idea, something new. If he doesn’t do that, in my opinion, he already risks having one foot out. With new things in the team I would be optimistic about him,” explained the American tennis legend during the interview.

The 2025 tennis season will kick off shortly after Christmas with the first tournaments in Australia and New Zealand and the United Cup. The highlight of the first part of the season is obviously the Australian Open starting in Melbourne on January 12, 2025.

There is obviously great anticipation about what kind of season Djokovic will be able to perform. The 24-time Serbian Slam champion ended his year early without taking part in the ATP Finals in Turin but in Australia he will be regularly at the starting line having indicated the Grand Slam tournaments and the matches with Serbia as the main objectives in this final phase of his career.

We recall Nole closed 2025 without winning a title, but conquering the much dreamed Olympic Gold Medal in Paris, beating Carlitos Alcaraz in two tie-breaks and completing the Career Golden Slam.
