The Miami Dolphins put a fitting cherry on top of their draft class Saturday by taking Georgia Tech defensive tackle Zeek Biggers with the No. 253 overall selection in the 2025 NFL draft.
Biggers tips the scales at 6’6, 321 pounds, adding more beef to a defense that suddenly has much more size heading into the remainder of the offseason.
After beginning as a reserve with the Yellow Jackets, Biggers stepped into the starting lineup in the last two seasons. He earned back-to-back All-ACC Honorable Mentions, finishing his collegiate career with 8.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and four blocked kicks.
The Dolphins entered the 2025 NFL draft with very little depth along the defensive line after losing both Calais Campbell and Da’Shawn Hand in free agency. Now the team will add three draft picks to the mix in first-rounder Kenneth Grant, fifth-rounder Jordan Phillips, along with Biggers. The team returns 2024 starters Zach Sieler and Benito Jones.
