The 2025 NFL Draft is officially in the books, and somehow, the Baltimore Ravens still aren’t finished. Baltimore made 11 picks over three days—enough new blood to start its own expansion team—but that didn’t stop General Manager Eric DeCosta and the front office from immediately diving into undrafted free agency.
Why the Ravens even need more players after adding an entire busload of rookies—11 to be exact—is beyond comprehension. But this is Baltimore we’re talking about. No team in the league treats the undrafted free agent process more seriously, and no team finds more hidden gems from it year after year.
The Ravens’ history with UDFAs is as good as it gets. From Priest Holmes to Gus Edwards to Patrick Ricard to their Defensive Coordinator himself, Zach Orr, the team has built a reputation for spotting overlooked talent and turning it into real production. It’s a big reason why their roster remains one of the deepest in the league year after year.
With a few depth needs still lingering—especially at defensive line—the Ravens wasted no time hitting the phones to secure their first wave of undrafted rookies after the draft.

Here’s a list of the undrafted free agents Baltimore signed this year:

- Reid Holskey (OT, Miami (Ohio))
- Sone Ntoh (RB, Monmouth)
- Chandler Martin (LB, Memphis)
- Gerad Christian-Lichtenhan (OL, Oregon State)
- Ozzie Hutchinson (OL, Albany)
- Sam Pitz (TE, Minnesota-Duluth)
- Keondre Jackson (DB, Illinois State)
- Xavier Guillory (WR, Arizona State)
- Jared Penning (OL, Northern Iowa)
One of the more notable names on the list is Iowa’s Jay Higgins. He’s coming off an impressive 2024 season, headlined by four interceptions. His efforts earned him All-American honors. With 295 tackles and nine passes defensed over the past two years, he has legitimate run and pass defensive traits. He is undersized, but if there is a weak-ish roster spot, it’d probably be at the linebacker position.
Another name to keep an eye on is Desmond Igbinosun out of Rutgers. He’s a big-bodied defensive back (6-foot-2, 213 pounds) who started eight games last season and racked up 53 tackles. He’s not a flashy player, but he’s dependable, experienced, and comes from a football family—his younger brother is a standout corner at Ohio State. Baltimore loves smart, physical DBs who can help on special teams and Igbinosun could sneak onto the roster that way.
Then there’s Sone Ntoh from Monmouth. If you’re looking for production, it’s hard to top a guy who led the entire FCS with 25 rushing touchdowns last year. At 5-foot-11 and 235 pounds, he’s a downhill runner who isn’t afraid of contact. He’s raw, but the Ravens have a history of turning power backs into legitimate contributors. With Derrick Henry on a short-term deal, you never know—Ntoh could find his way into a bigger role down the line.
Jared Penning is another name to keep an eye out for as his older brother is a former first-round pick for the Saints (Trevor). Penning has played inside and out, mirroring former Raven turned Jaguar, Patrick Mekari.
