Much like the rest of her shows across the world, Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” leg in Brazil was a massive hit. The “Karma” singer sold out all six of her shows in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in November 2023, as her Brazilian fans showed how much they love and adore her.
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was not with Swift to see her perform in Brazil. While the All-Pro tight end has traveled to multiple locations to support her girlfriend, Brazil was not one of them.
The good news for Kelce is that he might now have a chance to watch Swift on stage in the South American country. This is after the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter was named as one of the potential artists to headline the famed annual free concert on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro.
According to Brazilian news outlet O Globo, Rio mayor Eduardo Paes recently announced that U2 will be performing in the mega concert in 2026. The report also indicated that Swift has been included in a shortlist of big-name artists who could grace the Copacabana stage in the future.

O Globo’s report indicates that Bonus Track, the event’s producer, has included Swift in a list containing 11 potential artists named as “possible future content.”
The announcement quickly turned heads on social media as Swifties shared their excitement.
“Yessssss,” a comment on X read.
“1.5m crowd in celebration of a 20-year-career would be too iconic,” another said.
“She would easily pull in 3-5M 💕” wrote a fan..
“She should do it this year and announce REP TV there,” a Swiftie suggested.
“I would actually fly to Brazil for this tbh 😭 No idea with whom but I’ll be in that plane!” declared another.
“She should totally do this,” a reaction read.
Lady Gaga will be performing in this year’s show, succeeding Madonna’s performance in 2023, which reportedly attracted no less than 1.6 million fans. Swift won’t be performing next year, but this exciting announcement may mean that she will be back in Brazil soon.
According to O Globo, Swift joins the likes of Adele, Rihanna, Elton John, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney, Coldplay, AC/DC and The Rolling Stones on the shortlist of potential future performers.
