Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has been catching attention not just for his football skills but also for his striking appearance.
Recently, rumors began circulating that the 35-year-old tight end had undergone a hair transplant to achieve his voluminous, longer locks. However, his trusted barber, Vince Garcia, has set the record straight.
In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Garcia, who has been cutting Kelce’s hair for years, laughed off the speculation.
“Nah, not at all, man,” Garcia said, addressing the rumors about a hair transplant. “That’s a full head of hair right there.”
The Los Angeles-based celebrity barber went on to clarify that Kelce’s current hair is entirely natural, putting any doubts to rest. Garcia has been a part of Kelce’s grooming routine for a long time.
“Throughout the years, he’ll come to my barbershop or he’ll come to my house and get cut,” Garcia shared. “He keeps me around to get him ready for an appearance or a TV show.”
Their professional relationship has developed into a strong friendship, with Garcia describing Kelce as “a great dude, man. A great friend, as well.”

As for Kelce’s style evolution, his longer hair is part of a personal decision rather than a result of a hair procedure. Kelce himself has mentioned that his girlfriend, pop star Taylor Swift, played a role in encouraging him to grow out his hair.
This shift in his look was also noted by his teammate Patrick Mahomes, who said to SiriusXM NFL Radio, “I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out, and all of a sudden Taylor gets him to do it.”
