It’s rare that Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany can enjoy some time out in public without being swarmed by paparazzi.
The two-time MVP is one of the most recognizable faces in professional sports, and the leader of one of the most successful dynasties in NFL history, so naturally he’s followed by photographers any time he leaves his home.
Things were no different on Friday night when the Mahomes’ were photographed at Carbone Beach in Miami ahead of attending the F1 Miami Grand Prix as part of their kid-free weekend in South Florida.
Photos emerged on social media and were published on Page Six of Mahomes and his wife partying with several celebrities including legendary New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and country music superstar Jelly Roll, who also performed at the club.
According to Page Six, Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn, former New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, comedian Andrew Schulz, reality TV star Bethenny Frankel, actress Brooks Nader and actor Cuba Gooding Jr. were also in attendance.
In addition to chatting it up with Brady, Mahomes was also seen conversing with Miami Heat star Kevin Love.
“Patrick was overheard saying that he was in town just to have fun and took a moment to pose with Love, 36, and his wife, Kate Bock, for photos until Brittany rejoined them for a group photo-op,” Page Six reported.
Friday’s Miami Beach party was one of the few times Mahomes and Brittany have been seen out in public following the Chiefs’ 40-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans on Feb. 9.
Mahomes attended a Texas Tech basketball game back at the end of February — his first public appearance after the Super Bowl — and he and Brittany have had a few other lowkey public outings as well since then.
