I think you can make the argument that this is the most talented Dolphins offense in quite some time, especially in the Mike McDaniel era. There are definitely some questions about the depth at certain spots, but the starting unit and secondary pieces are extremely talented.
QB: Tua Tagovailoa
RB: De’Von Achane, Jaylen Wright, Ollie Gordon II
LT: Patrick Paul
LG: James Daniels
C: Aaron Brewer
RG: Jonah Savaiinaea
RT: Austin Jackson
WR: Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, Malik Washington
TE: Jonnu Smith
Miami has lacked a 3rd WR behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle for the most part, but the hope is that Nick Westbrook-Ikhine is that guy. Malik Washington’s development is also going to be one to follow, he showed plenty of promise last season, especially at the end of the year. The starting OL looks to be in better shape than it has been in the past with the additions of James Daniels, and Jonah Savaiinaea. There are still some concerns about the depth there though, especially with some of the injury history with the starters. Bringing in Jonnu Smith was massive last season, he added a different element to the offense and could be even better in his 2nd year. Like the OL, the depth at TE also has some questions. Guys like Pharaoh Brown or Julian Hill need to step up as the blocking TE. The RB room has a really intriguing blend of skill sets. Behind De’Von Achane, it’s likely going to be a battle between Jaylen Wright and Ollie Gordon as the 2nd guy, with Alexander Mattison also trying to have a role. Overall, the biggest questions are going to be if they can stay healthy, and how they will produce against high quality opponents. It’s certainly going to be interesting to see what happens in year 4 of Mike McDaniel’s offense.
