Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has just about every accolade a player can have in the NFL, and now he can add another thing to the list.
Except this time it isn’t NFL-related.
Mahomes posted via his Instagram account that he is being inducted into the Texans High School Hall of Fame, a superb nod to the player and person Patrick is and has been across his journey.
But there is something more.
Mahomes is giving back to his school in a big way, which he explained in his Instagram post.
“Whitehouse, Texas is where it all began. It’s an honor to be inducted into the Texas High School Football Hall of Fame,” Mahomes wrote.
“As a part of this recognition, I’m proud to announce that @adidasfballus and I are signing 15 high schools to Team Mahomes that will represent my Gladiator logo on uniform, starting with Whitehouse High School. This is just the beginning.”

So, Mahomes is giving back to grassroots football. His high school was the first team to have his logo on its jerseys, and another 14 will follow suit.
With Mahomes seen as one of the best quarterbacks in football, now he is taking over high school football and with his Hall of Fame induction, his legacy at the school where he honed his talents is set in stone forever.
It is a superb achievement for Patrick and his family, with his football journey now immortalized forever.
The next stop for Patrick? Canton and the NFL Hall of Fame.
