Erin Andrews, one of the most popular sportscasters in the nation, shared some heartbreaking personal news on May 22.
Andrews, who shares a 2-year-old son, Mack, with her husband, Jarret Stoll, revealed she suffered a miscarriage via surrogate on her “Calm Down” podcast.
Andrews, who welcomed Mack through a surrogate after nearly a decade of infertility issues, also suffered a miscarriage of twins via surrogate before his birth. The 47-year-old announced through tears on Thursday that they were expecting a baby girl this time.
“Her little heartbeat and her numbers were really good, so much so I even told you guys a couple weeks ago because we thought we had such good news,” Andrews told producer Ryan Musick, who was filling in for Charissa Thompson.

“Been sitting here thinking about Taylor Swift’s song, ‘I Can Do It with a Broken Heart.’ I’m really good at doing this [expletive] with a broken heart,” Andrews continued.
Andrews is a huge Swiftie who’s built a relationship with the pop star amid her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, whom the NFL analyst has been friends with for years. She even joined Swift and Kelce during a vacation in Big Sky, Montana, in March.
Andrews posted a clip from her heartbreaking announcement on Instagram with the prompt, “You’re not alone,” and Kelce liked the post.
Kelce’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, commented, “Sending lots of love your way! ❤️❤️.”
Kylie, 33, revealed she suffered a miscarriage before welcoming her first child, Wyatt, 5. She now has four daughters including Elliotte, 4, Bennett, 2, and Finnley, 7 weeks.
With speculation over whether or not Kylie was pregnant last summer, the “Not Gonna Lie” podcast host shut the rumors down. “I cannot stand people writing such insensitive articles about such a sensitive topic—[it] really lights my fire,” she said in a video message.
“I had a miscarriage before Wyatt. I went in for my 13-week ultrasound. There was no heartbeat and I had to have a D&E a few days later.”
“So I do not take getting pregnant or trying to get pregnant lightly and I think we just need be in agreement that this is not a topic that anyone needs to be first on reporting. Let the parents say it when they’re good and ready.”
