2025 has already been an eventful year for global superstar Taylor Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
After a whirlwind end to 2024, both took some well-deserved time out of the spotlight. Swift wrapped up her record-breaking Eras Tour in December, performing 149 shows across the globe, while Kelce capped off another dominant NFL season with a run to his third consecutive Super Bowl, which extended into February.
Now, it appears the couple is easing back into the public eye. The two were spotted out to dinner on Friday night—just under two weeks after they were last seen together publicly on Mother’s Day in New York City.

Now, less than 24 hours after her public appearance with Kelce, major news regarding Taylor Swift’s music surfaced on Saturday afternoon—an impressive feat, especially considering she hasn’t released any new music in 2025.
According to Swift Charts, Swift has now surpassed seven billion streams on Spotify in 2025 alone, achieving the milestone in just 142 days. Despite not dropping any new material this year, she remains the most-streamed female artist globally, a testament to her enduring popularity and massive fanbase.
“Without releasing any new music in 2025, Swift is still on pace to reach an astonishing 16 billion streams on Spotify by year’s end—an extraordinary feat by any measure. That said, Swifties are holding out hope that new music is on the horizon, especially given Swift’s history of making surprise announcements with little advance notice.
Adding to the anticipation, Swift has been nominated for six awards at the upcoming American Music Awards on May 26. She’s also coming off a recent honor, having been named Songwriter of the Year at the BMI Awards last week.

It remains unclear whether Swift will attend the AMAs on Monday night, but speculation is swirling. With a record 40 AMA wins from just 49 nominations—the most in the show’s history—many believe there’s a strong chance she could make an appearance.
