It’s been a much quieter offseason for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift than the last two and NFL fans probably prefer it that way. But even as Kelce begins training for the next season, some NFL players just couldn’t resist having fun at their expense.
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins did just that in a recent appearance on E! News. While on the show, Cousins was shown some recent pictures of Kelce, including one of his back hair.
Upon seeing Kelce’s back hair, Cousins could merely say “God bless Taylor Swift” for being able to put up with seeing that all the time.
“God bless Taylor Swift for being good with that,” Cousins said. “That’s awesome. Good for her.
“Thankfully, I don’t have to deal with that. But I’m in a locker room a lot. That’s just a part of life. It is what it is.”
Kelce has been hairy for long time. He revealed in an episode of his New Heights podcast that he would have a beard, long hair and hair on his chest, back, arms and legs all the time. Because of this he was nicknamed “Big Yeti” by his basketball partners.
“It’s just a big ole Yeti out there, man,” Kelce said. “All the homies on the court were calling me ‘Big Yeti.’”

2025 could be Travis Kelce’s final year in the NFL. He appeared to be close to retiring at the end of last season but finally committed to playing in 2025 a little while after the Chiefs’ loss in Super Bowl LIX.
As for Cousins, he has his own NFL career to worry about. He’s been granted a trade but found no suitors and is likely to spend 2025 as an expensive benchwarmer if he doesn’t find somewhere to start for soon.
This coming season will be an interesting one for sure.
