Good news: Carlos Alcaraz has decided to donate all of his winnings from the 2025 Italian Open to help the homeless in Spain.

Rome, May 22, 2025 – In a moving act of charity, world number one Carlos Alcaraz announced that he would donate the entire $3 million bonus he had just won from the  2025 Italian Open tournament.  Renovating abandoned houses into shelters.  Former farmhouse  in Spain.

Alcaraz shared the news at the press conference following his landslide victory over Jannik Sinner in the Rome final. He said: “Today’s victory is special, but above all, I can use this success to make a positive contribution to society. According to Alcaraz’s representative, the $3 million will be transferred to a non-profit fund he and his family founded last year to support vulnerable groups in society. The next project will focus on renovating old and unused homes in major cities like Madrid, Barcelona, ​​and Seville, transforming them into  shelters for homeless elderly people  .
