Jason Kelce’s daughters are living the good life.
In an episode of his podcast New Heights with brother Travis Kelce, the retired NFL player spoke about how he’d just opened up the pool in his backyard for the summer. As Jason is speaking with Travis, one of his daughters interrupts him to ask if he’s going in the pool that day.
“Am I going in the pool today? Yes. I turned the heater on. The pool will not be cold,” Jason says to his little one, turning to Travis and the microphone to say, “F—— bougie.”
“Well, that’s what happens if you raise those suburban kids, Jason,” Travis teases.
“You’re right. You’re right. I told Kylie [Kelce] we should have raised them in West Philly, and she was like, ‘There’s no chance,’ ” Jason says.
“Oh yeah. That’s how you get cultured right there,” Travis says.
Jason shares his four daughters — Wyatt, 5, Bennett, 4, Elliotte, 2, and Finnley “Finn,” whom they welcomed in March — with wife Kylie Kelce.
At the Amazon Upfront red carpet in May, Jason spoke with Entertainment Tonight and was asked whether his brother Travis’ popstar girlfriend Taylor Swift, 35, had met his baby daughter Finnley yet.
“She has. We were fortunate to have them all [visit],” he replied. “It doesn’t happen often, everybody’s busy. But it was really special.”
At the same event, Jason spoke with PEOPLE and was asked how his older daughters are adjusting to becoming older siblings to their baby sister Finnley.
“They’re getting there. I think the older two right away,” the dad of four said. “They love trying to…They like being like mom, and they like being around the newborn.”
“Our youngest, Benny, she took some warming up, but she’s starting to get there, so that’s been good,” added Jason.
In an April episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kylie explained how she and Jason landed on the name Finnley “Finn” for their new addition.
“This saga has officially concluded. All the people who are going to be triggered by the fact that this name does not have two t’s, I warned you,” Kylie began. “It was a journey. For the first 24 hours of her life, she did not have a name. We had discussed names with anyone we could trust to not share names. We didn’t go with a single option that we had been discussing, so there’s that.”
“Her name is Finnley Anne Kelce. We plan to call her ‘Finn’ for short,” she continued. “The name Finn was not one of the names that we were discussing with other people, but came back around because it was a serious contender for Elliotte’s name. Considering we had to name four children with the same gender, we had to run it back to the archives and borrow one from a different child, and that’s what we did.”
