During the offseason, Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes spends as much quality time as possible with his wife, Brittany Mahomes, and their three children.
Mahomes and Brittany welcomed their third child, a daughter named Golden Raye, on January 12. Golden joins big sister, Sterling Skye, 4, and big brother, Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 2. Having children is part of what fuels Mahomes on and off the field.
After news broke that the Kansas City Current co-owners pitched bringing a WNBA team to the area, the three-time Super Bowl MVP said Sterling inspired him to make the pitch.
“I think, first, it’s just to showcase to my daughter, who I believe loves sports so far because everything we do, she wants to hit the baseball off the tee, she wants to play soccer,” Mahomes told reporters on October 31. “I want to show that she can follow her dreams and make an impact in this world in whatever that dream is.”

After Brittany shared the first photos of baby Golden’s face with the world last week, the 29-year-old revealed more new family photos to celebrate Father’s Day.
She captioned a post on Instagram, “Happy Father’s Day to our rock! The most incredible, loyal most fun dad everrrrrr! The way you love us is unmatched! You never let a day go by without letting these kids know how special they are! We love you 🤍.”
Fans gushed over the sweet pictures. One person commented, “Blessed beyond measure! 🩵 You can tell how much they love their daddy just in these photos! Adorable!!” Another fan wrote, “So precious! Happy Father’s Day to this hero!” One man added, “is it football season yet?!?!? let’s go Daddy Mahomes!!!! 🏈.”

Brittany, Patrick Mahomes on the Same Page on Welcoming Baby No. 4
In a recent interview with WHOOP’s Will Ahmed, the founder & CEO of the fitness company, Brittany spoke about the possibility of having another baby.
“Nope,” she answered. “We’re done. We’re done for a while. Three. I don’t know, I mean I feel like you can never like say you’re done, but I think three is all I need.”
The three-time Super Bowl MVP appears to be on the same page. During a press conference shortly after Golden’s birth in January, “We’ll see down the line, maybe,” Mahomes said. “But my goal was always three. So, we’ve had three. And we’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.”
Right now, they’re soaking life with three young ones. “It’s cool to welcome another baby girl in our family and see how my other kids react to her,” he added. “Having baby sissy and stuff like that—it’s been a lot of fun.”
