The Kansas City Chiefs are ramping up their preparations for the 2025 NFL season, with mandatory minicamp scheduled this week. Sure enough, quarterback Patrick Mahomes is equally motivated to get back on the field considering how the past campaign ended.
As fans would know, Kansas City lost the final game of the year, bowing to the Philadelphia Eagles 40-22 at Super Bowl LIX.
In the aftermath of the loss, the Chiefs quarterback admitted it was the “worst thing in the world” and that “it’s going to hurt for a while.” However, he emphasized that the defeat will “motivate” him to be “even better” for the rest of his career, per Sky Sports.
As Patrick Mahomes gears up for the upcoming season, his wife, Brittany Mahomes, and his kids are making sure to motivate him and let him know that they love and support him.

On Father’s Day on Sunday, Brittany Mahomes sent a loving message to her husband, all while sharing photos of the Chiefs quarterback posing with their three kids.
“Happy Father’s Day to our rock!” Brittany Mahomes wrote. “The most incredible, loyal most fun dad everrrrrr! The way you love us is unmatched! You never let a day go by without letting these kids know how special they are! We love you.”
Patrick Mahomes not only shared the post on his Instagram Stories, but he also responded with a short but sweet message to show his appreciation for his wife and kids.
“Love yall!” the 29-year-old signal-caller wrote.
Brittany Mahomes has been Patrick Mahomes’ biggest supporter, and it’s clear she has played a huge role in pushing the Chiefs star further in both his personal and professional life.
Recently, Brittany Mahomes shared a video of them working out together in an Adidas commercial. The mother of three wrote in the caption, “We get better together.”
It remains to be seen how Patrick Mahomes will perform in 2025, but with such a huge support system behind him, he should be more than capable of handling any adversity that comes his way.
