On Monday, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, appeared at Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in France.
Though the Super Bowl winners were on hand to talk about their podcast, “New Heights,” another Kelce entertainment venture was one of the hottest topics during their open interview session.
Their mom, Donna Kelce, was recently announced as a cast member for the upcoming fourth season of Peacock’s hit celebrity competition show, “The Traitors.”
“Sundays were just the beginning,” the Kelce matriarch wrote on Instagram, announcing her role on the cast. “I raised two playmakers, but now it’s Mama’s turn.”

When asked for their reactions to the news, Jason and Travis Kelce gave their honest thoughts to the audience in France.
“Mama Donna, yeah we’re all kind of anxious to see it,” the younger Kelce brother said.
“We’ve seen the evil side of Donna, you guys haven’t,” Kelce joked. “There is no evil, she’s the sweetest.”
“Cautiously pessimistic,” Jason said of his mother’s prospects on the back-stabbing television series, hosted by Alan Cumming.
Donna Kelce is familiar with the big screen. She featured heavily in the 2023 documentary film “Kelce” that followed the family behind the scenes the season before Travis’ Chiefs and Jason’s Eagles met in Super Bowl LVII.
She made her scripted acting debut in the 2024 Hallmark Christmas movie “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story,” which included subtle nods to her son Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift.
After the appearance in Cannes, Travis is expected back in Kansas City on Tuesday for the first day of Chiefs mandatory minicamp ahead of his 13th NFL season.
