Novak Djokovic’s chances at Wimbledon are one of the main topics of debate at the moment, considering that the Serbian legend wants to try in every way to win the 25th Major title of his amazing career.

As has become tradition, the former world number 1 will not play any official tournament before the Championships and will work hard together with his team to gain the right confidence on this surface. The 38-year-old from Belgrade has also reached the final in London in the last two editions, in which he was defeated by Carlos Alcaraz on both occasions with particular regrets for the 2023 match.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion was demolished by the Spanish star in last year’s final, but it must be admitted that he showed up at Church Road in a precarious condition due to knee surgery (due to the injury suffered during Roland Garros).

After reaching the semifinals at 2025 Roland Garros – losing to current world No.1 Jannik Sinner – Nole has regained confidence in his means and is convinced that he can do even better on a surface more suited to his game at this stage of his career.

The Serbian took away the added satisfaction of lifting the 100th trophy of his outstanding career in Geneva and has no intention of stopping there, having revealed in a recent interview that he would like to continue competing until the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028.

On the latest edition of his podcast, American legend Jimmy Connors shared his opinion on Novak’s chances of winning another Grand Slam: “It’s not easy to face rivals so young at his age. Best-of-five matches are really demanding athletically, and it’s hard to play your best tennis for several days in a row when you’re 38. This process affects all players, and there’s nothing you can do to avoid it.”

Nole hasn’t lifted a Grand Slam title for about a year and a half, more precisely since the 2023 US Open, when he defeated Daniil Medvedev in the final.
